This week I’m thinking about…I finished my “Issues in Urban Agriculture” course at the University of Guelph! And even though it was about issues in urban agriculture, I came away from the experience feeling inspired and optimistic. There are so many people out there doing all they can to grow food in what little spaces they have. And sure, on their own they’re just tiny little gardens. But together, it’s a whole movement because these little gardens are doing big things. They’re feeding people, engaging communities, teaching children, and changing city planning, policies, and regulations. You don’t have to look far down the line to see how the small act of growing a little food can have a huge impact. - Bridgette
